Scan Helper Privacy Policy

Scan Helper is a Chrome extension that, after an AWB scan on a hub manifest, automatically completes the packet barcode step. This policy explains what data we handle and why.

Who we are

Scan Helper is provided by D2CTAP. Account and billing APIs run at https://oms.d2ctap.com. Contact: shreeramfashionst@gmail.com.

Data we collect

• Account: name, email, password (stored hashed on our server), and a session token on your device.
• Hub assignment: the hub you choose at signup, locked to your account.
• Subscription: plan, expiry, and payment confirmation from our payment processor (card details stay with the processor, not in the extension).
• Scan operation: AWB, packet ID, and related manifest fields already shown in your operations console, used only to complete the packet step and show scan status in the popup.

How we use it

We use this data only to run Scan Helper: login, hub lock, subscription checks, and auto-completing the packet barcode after an AWB scan. We do not sell user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it for credit or lending.

Where it is stored

• On your computer: Chrome storage.local (session, hub, scan status).
• On our servers: account, hub lock, and subscription records at oms.d2ctap.com.
• Cookies on the operations site you already use: read only when you tap Get Hub, so we can list hubs you already have access to. We do not send those cookies to advertising networks.

Sharing

Payment confirmation is processed by Razorpay. We do not sell or transfer personal data to other third parties except as needed to operate the service or as required by law.

Retention

Account and subscription data are kept while the account is active. You can log out in the extension to clear local session data. Email us to request account deletion.

Permissions

The extension uses storage, alarms, cookies, and access only to the operations console and oms.d2ctap.com. It does not run remote JavaScript from unknown sites inside the extension package.
